More Info:

To provide a venue for CACC members and other sports car enthusiasts who wish to experience higher speeds than existing Autoslalom programs allow and/or for whom the CACC Racing program is not currently affordable, desirable or available. CACC Time Attack offers the car enthusiast the chance to take his/her car and driving skills to the limit in a safe and controlled environment among experienced racers and organizers.

To provide a safe, well structured program and learning environment for CACC members who wish to make the transition from Autoslalom to CACC Racing competition. Membership in CACC member clubs and Time Attack competition licenses are required.

Time Attack events are a step closer to road racing. Events usually take place on road racing circuits where each competitor takes turns challenging the track and the clock to turn the fastest time against other cars in their class. Time Attack is another opportunity to develop your car control skills, but at speeds approaching those of road racing. A Time Attack competitor must first compete as an Autoslalom competitor or have equivalent on-track experience before qualifying for a Novice Time Attack License. After a season of competition under the scrutiny of CACC officials, a Novice can apply for a Senior Time Attack License. Time Attack requires additional safety equipment beyond that mandated for Autoslalom.
